TITLE- MINA MINA DREAMING

Judy depicts important ceremonial sites associated with the Jukurrpa(Dreaming) of the Napangardi and Napanangka women, as they travelled across the significant Mina Mina site,west of Yuendumu, Aboriginal Art Regions of Central Australia. The women gathered Aboriginal food (bush tucker),  collected Ngalyipi(snake vine) and performed ceremonies. The snake vine is symbolic to the Warlpiri Aboriginal women. Ngalyipi has many uses including ceremonial wraps,as a shoulder strape in which they would carry Parrajas(wooden bowls) laden with bush tucker and as a tourniquet for headaches.
